“For the human brain there is no difference in experiences obtained in real life or those played out in our minds. This is the very source of D&D's power. You grab a group of friends and head out for an adventure. A REAL adventure!”
Artur started out as a D&D meme connoisseur and a Dungeon Master for a group of close friends, but now his heart belongs to creating fantastical worlds and writing homebrew content. Which is not to say say that the memes stopped coming or that his group of friends was left without a DM - on the contrary, they are the first group of enthusiastic lab rats to eagerly test run everything he creates.
While the adventures of D&D were born in the deep dungeons, the adventurers themselves are often shaped by their hometowns and the settlements they grew up in. The Urban Archetypes is an insight into exactly that; what kind of heroes are born among the bustling market squares, the grimy streets and the lively taverns.
Volume 1 introduces three new subclasses and two new character backgrounds influenced by the urban setting:
Barbarian, Path of the Drunkard
Rogue, the Temple Thief Archetype
Dark Civilization Warlock Patron
Tax Collector character background
Blacksmith character background
