“I’ve read the sourcebooks so you don't have to!”
Jesse began playing Dungeons and Dragons in 2014, but his passion for the game grew when he became a Dungeon Master for a group who was new to D&D. In February of 2020, he created an Instagram page to compile his thoughts for himself and his players. But as D&D Tips grew, Jesse discovered a new passion for teaching first-time players and working with DMs to create beautiful and engaging worlds.
Through D&D Tips, Jesse makes an intentional effort to engage with the community through his weekly Q&A and his 100% response rate to private messages. Whether you are new to D&D or a long-time vet, Jesse has the knowledge and willingness to help you improve your experience.
You can find D&D Tips on Instagram with daily tips for players and Dungeon Masters.

Playstyle
Jesse prefers high-fantasy settings with a healthy blend of humor and realism. Expect to encounter a wide range of themes from suspense-filled horror to light-hearted adventure. Most of Jesse’s sessions will be run within homebrew worlds, but he is also a big fan of Theros, Bilgewater, and the Underdark as campaign settings. When it comes to adhering to the 5e ruleset, Jesse typically rules in favor of awesome storytelling. If you attempt something crazy but can explain it well, get those dice ready to roll!
Platforms Used
Jesse will be hosting all games through Streamyard. This platform works well for creating exciting graphics, ambience, and life within each session.
Table Resources
Jesse uses a wide range of 3D terrain, vinyl mats, and miniatures from his ever expanding collection. This collection includes 3D printed worlds, unique scatter terrain, and hand painted Wizkids miniatures. All combat encounters will be displayed via webcam.
