"Adventure shouldn't cost a fortune!"
Tristan is a nerd. He's been a nerd as far back as anyone can remember, and no one who grew up with him finds it at all surprising that he is still a nerd.
Unfortunately, Tristan grew up with almost no contact with D&D. Other than a few doomed 4e sessions, he missed out on the greatest roleplaying game in the world until the months leading up to his first deployment. A friend turned him onto a 5e podcast that reintroduced him to the world of D&D, and it captured his imagination and paved the way to a renewed love of fantasy and literature.
When he returned home, the lure of 3D terrain led him to discover a long lost creative streak and start building for his home game. After nearly a year, his wife encouraged him to start crafting for other DMs in the community (and hopefully get some of the "foam mountain" out of their house!).
After a successful Instagram launch in December of 2018, Tristan opened his Etsy shop in the summer of 2019 and expanded his range of products with the goal of providing affordable, custom terrain for other budget DM's.
Working directly with Dungeon Masters to craft various tiles, scatter, and full custom terrain sets tailored to their worlds, Tristan has built for games in the US, Canada, Australia, and even Hungary.
Constantly experimenting, and learning new techniques, he has helped bring their worlds to life by blending the fantasy aesthetic with realistic textures and color pallets.
