How does it work?

After filling out the application below, we will contact you to begin the interview process. The purpose of the interview is to ensure that your values and style is in line with ours. Our program is designed to handle the administrative duties for you, so all you have to do is enjoy playing D&D!

Why don’t I just create my own account?

You certainly can! The Dungeon Master Team is designed to take out all the hassle for you and provide the community with a trusted source of reputable Dungeon Masters. When players sign up for a game with The D&D Coalition, they will know what to expect; a great time with a professional, reputable, and trusted DM! The D&D Coalition will handle the following responsibilities:

• Advertisement and player support

• DM support in the form of resources, training, and regular communication

• Session scheduling based around your personal needs & availability

• Technical support and ease of use

How will I get paid?

You get to determine the price, duration, date, and time of your games. On average, games range from $15-$25 per person for a 3 hour session. You will receive an 80% commission (via PayPal) for each game you run. This means you will be earning $30 per hour on average!

WHERE DOES THE OTHER 20% GO?

Starting Playing (10%)

This is the standard fee for using the Start Playing platform. It will be used to purchase advertising, maintain the website, and add new features to the platform.

The D&D Coalition (10%)

This fee will go directly back into promoting this program, growing your audience, and building a roster of reputable Dungeon Masters like yourself. Rest assured, this money will not be used on a miniature spending spree! The D&D Coalition is a trusted resource within the community and we wish to keep it that way.

Do I have to DM through The D&D Coalition indefinitely?

Not at all! The purpose of this program is to serve as a stepping stone for your professional Dungeon Master career. You are more than welcome to create your own Start Playing profile at any time!

How do I get started?

All you have to do is fill out the application form and we will be in contact with you! As we said, we want to make sure to uphold our reputation as a trusted resource within the community. As a Dungeon Master of The Coalition, we want to make sure that you uphold those values as well. If you are invited to join our team, you’ll be given everything you need to begin your career as a fully recognized Dungeon Master of the D&D Coalition. We look forward to working with you!
